DAMN! What is WRONG with people!!!

When I first got my Porsche, I ran into a store and the windows were open just a crack....

.. I come out of the store and someone wedged their fingers in there and tried to pull the window out of the channel to get in the car.

I pushed the power window button and the window went "brrrrr... CLUNK!" and fell into the bottom of the door. [img]eek.gif[/img]

When I first moved to L.A. I had a pristine '78 Camaro. Within 2 months it was stolen. They found it and the dopes had stolen the stereo, total amateurs that they were, they broke one rear speaker and totally destroyed my dashboard trying to get the system out [img]graemlins/sure.gif[/img] You could tell it was kids looking for crack money. Then, after the insurance company fixed it all up nice and pretty..I had it stolen again..for the stereo, again..but I'm happy to report that the second batch of thieves were much neater and professional about their work. Bummer, sorry to hear that TW. A roomie of mine in Florida caught some kids trashing his Explorer and called em on it. One took a swing at him and then the kid's parents tried to sue Dave after he kicked the crap out of their "innocent little boy" who was 17 years 9 months old and who left his fingerprints all over the inside of two other cars that were called-in the same night.

That sucks big time, man. And half the time it's just kids showing off to their friends.

When my wife and I were living in Vegas, we both had our cars broken into AND stolen at different times. Just kids looking for a joyride. It makes you feel just as violated as someone breaking into your house. Luckily both of us were fully covered but the hassles of resolving that crap take over your life. You have my sympathies .
